Laragne-Monteglin
We keep the group small to ensure focused attention on each pilot. On the first day, we will assess areas for improvement and tailor the remainder of the course to help you take the next step forward in your paragliding progression. This course is specifically designed to meet your individual flying needs.
If you feel that there are aspects you can work on, then this course is suitable for you.
Our base will be near Laragne-Montéglin, and our main take-off point will be Chabre.
Learning Platform
Before the course, you will receive access to the Flying Karlis coaching platform. This platform will provide you with the necessary knowledge for the course, ranging from site and safety briefing to explaining the fundamentals of thermal flying as well as cross country tactics. We also cover the mental aspect. This pre-course preparation will save us a lot of time on the first day.
Learning new things takes time, and by having months to go through the information at your own pace, it will be much easier for you during the course. It is easier to recall information that you already know compared to learning it on the same day. This pre-course material will be sent to you once you register for the course, allowing you time to understand it thoroughly.
Base
We will arrange a comfortable house for the entire group to stay in. We have multiple options in the area, and we will choose the best available place. This house will serve as our base, where we will pick you up every morning and drop you off after flying. It will also be the location for briefings and debriefings. During your stay, you won’t need your own transportation as we will also provide transportation to shops whenever necessary for you to get what you need.
Airport pick up
Airport pick-up from Marseilles airport can be arranged upon request. Please book your arrival flight to arrive in Marseilles around noon.
On the following Saturday morning, there will be a shuttle available to take you back to the airport. Book your return flight from Marseilles in the afternoon.
The airport is approximately a 2-hour drive from our base.
The cost of the shuttle is 350 € per trip, which will be shared among the passengers. Our van can accommodate up to 8 passengers.

Price - 1350 euros
Included in the fee – accommodations, shuttles and course fee.
